At the beginning of this year Werkcentrum Drechtsteden was launched. Werkcentrum Drechtsteden is the place where residents of the seven municipalities in the Drechtsteden can go for advice and support on work, career development, personnel and training. Whether it is about finding a job, developing skills or retraining to a promising profession – Werkcentrum Drechtsteden is there for employees, job seekers and employers. For the solution that works. Point.
To celebrate the ‘going live’ of Werkcentrum Drechtsteden, several events were organized in February and March.
Administrative opening

Inspiration session for employers
On March 6, 2025 Werkcentrum Drechtsteden organized an inspiration session for employers in the Drechtsteden. This interactive session, given by Renรฉ Vollenbroek and Sharon Peters, focused on ‘successful collaboration with the four generations’. Open days Spuiboulevard and Bridge House
On March 10 and 11, open days were organized for residents of the Drechtsteden municipalities. On March 10 this was at the Spuiboulevard in Dordrecht and on March 11 at Het Brughuis in Alblasserdam. On both days, interested parties were ‘treated’ to a conversation with a (career) advisor, a free CV Check and/or more information about the Work Center during the free walk-in from 10:00 to 12:00. Of course while enjoying coffee, tea and some goodies.
The open days were well attended. In addition to residents, several cooperation partners came by. We can look back on successful events.
